There is no LED lit up on CR and/or no channel indicator on the CT/CR 7-segment-display.
- Check the supply voltage to CT and CR at terminal 1 (+24V) and terminal 2 (0V).
|
CR does not switch to green, the "red LED" is lit up, and there is no fault indicator on the display.
- Check the alignment.
- Check the range between CR and CT.
- Is the orange LED on the CR lit up (weak light reception)?
If so, please clean the front screens or check the alignment.
- If UMC columns are being used, please note that there is a decrease in range of approx. 10% per deflection.
- Note the channel settings on CT and CR. (The DIP switches S2 in the CT and CR connector caps must be set for the same transmission channel.)
- Check the test input on the CT (connection terminal 3-4 in the connector cap) to see if it is closed with a bridge or by means of a relay combination.
Check whether the decimal point on the CT display is lit up => if so, input 3+4 open and the test mode is active.
|
CR switches off sporadically.
- Check for interference from external electro magnetical distorbtion sources by parallel located wires. Check whether shielded cables are being used.
- Check for interference from outside light.
- Check the arrangement of the light curtains. (If the AOPDs can mutually disturb each other's
- operation => operate the light curtains with different channel selections; CR/CT end cap: dip switch S2.)
|
CR and CT are active (the green LED is lit up on CR) but the system is not enabled.
- Check the wiring between COMPACT and the interface (see FAQs for the interface).
|
CR and/or CT indicate an error code on the display.
- Refer to the list of error codes in the service manual or operating instructions.
